My boss has a white on white automatic 525i for $800 i was about to buy. but this... this changes everything. what should i look for? any help from e34 owners?

I had a white 1990 525i auto and I took it to 412,000 miles. Awesome car but you have to baby it and do many things to it all the time. I know every dang bolt and nut on that car

whats a reasonable offer? (bear in mind i will have a rough time doing any sort of bartering as an 18 year old kid with cash in hand)

$2000. With that many miles there's now way its worth over $2500. I'd honestly go for the $800 one depending on the condition

I think the change was that this one has a manual and as such he'd much prefer it.
